This restaurants is situated on the beginning of the Santa Monica pier, follow Santa Monica towards the beach and until you can't drive no further to the left and there it is on the right side. A lot of parking facilities in the neighborhood or again valet parking but the parking lot need to be empty and that's not often the occasion.
It was busy but with to start with a cocktail at the outside bar overlooking Ocean Avenue, the Santa Monica pier and the beach ... who's complaining ... I can wait for a while ...
Especially with this weather around. But within 30 minutes we were at the table,
Started with a Gin Tonic and a Kirr ... life is great.
Starter : Crispy Lemon Calamari
Main Course : Steamed Maine Lobster w/ asparagus, roasted potatoes & drawn butter (per pound)
It's a busy restaurant, with a lot of tables overlooking the pier and the beach. Tables are well placed and there is a kind of cosy rumor over the restaurant what places you in the middle and what you expect of a restaurant. A bit trendy and seen and to be seen goes for this restaurant.
You'll get the apron with a drawing of a lobster, bit tacky for such a restaurant, but it has something to it. The first taste of the Lobster will let you forget that, very good taste, superb!!! If you're in the neighborhood go there. Make sure you have a reservation though.
