X-Mas diner 2011

This time we tried to do it our selves in an easy way ... We choose Ron Blaauw to do all the preparations. Only heat it up, finish it, cook it and make up the plates. Just get it in his kitchen follow the instructions at home and serve.

It's a bit lazy I know but hey it worked out pretty well and now get to spend time with the people in stead of being in the kitchen all the time.


Crab Salad 
Potato foam, caviar with crunchy quail egg

North Sea Sole
with Coquille, truffle and creme and crumbs from cauliflower with a beurre blanc

Tenderloin
With 'Boerenkool' (kale), Piccalilly, onion, onion creme, gnocci and gravy old fashion style

Mandarin
With Almond, cookies and brown rum ice cream

What can I say ... Jenny Loh has a perfect place with all the right ingredients (good staff, quick and good service and superb food).

And I tried as 2.000.000 other people to book a table at Ferran Adrià's restaurant in Spain over the years and never succeeded ... was he sitting in this restaurant this evening. So I can now proudly say I have eaten by and even with Ferran Adrià.

The place - as almost always - was packed ... but Jenny wil get you in if there's a place.

No card, no menu required ... always take a collection of what's available in small portions. A recollection of my memory below ...
